How do I move Taskbar in Windows 11 24H2 to the top of the screen?

I have an Emergency Medical Service client, dispatcher, that is having issues with a map program that is full screen and the Task Bar interferes with the operation of that application. Their simple request is to move the Task Bar out of the way, the top. I have tried the registry fixes with no luck.

Hi Baker, in Windows 11, moving the taskbar to any other position is no longer supported, and registry edits that worked in older releases no longer function because the positioning logic was removed from the shell. On Windows 10, the taskbar can still be repositioned by unlocking it and dragging it to the top, but in Windows 11 this option is gone and cannot be forced through registry hacks.

At this point, moving the taskbar to the top is not supported in Windows 11, so the best practice is to use auto‑hide or consider running the map program in a dedicated kiosk mode session to eliminate interference.

I hope it helps. Harry.
