Hi Baker, in Windows 11, moving the taskbar to any other position is no longer supported, and registry edits that worked in older releases no longer function because the positioning logic was removed from the shell. On Windows 10, the taskbar can still be repositioned by unlocking it and dragging it to the top, but in Windows 11 this option is gone and cannot be forced through registry hacks.
At this point, moving the taskbar to the top is not supported in Windows 11, so the best practice is to use auto‑hide or consider running the map program in a dedicated kiosk mode session to eliminate interference.
