Opening, sharing, and managing OneDrive-stored documents directly within Microsoft Teams
Once a Teams meeting transcript and recording expire, they are typically deleted and moved to the recycle bin. The recordings usually expire within a set period, which can be managed by the organization’s policies. If the recordings are beyond the expiration period (such as 90 days), they may no longer be recoverable unless they were specifically retained or migrated without an expiration set.
To access recordings and transcripts after their expiration, you would need to check the recycle bin in OneDrive or SharePoint where the recordings are stored. However, if they have been permanently deleted from the recycle bin, they cannot be accessed.
For future recordings, consider adjusting the expiration settings or retaining important recordings before they expire.
