- Does it take a long time to load files?
- When using the S Pen, do the strokes lag or not follow the pen smoothly?
- Are there delays when typing, scrolling, or switching pages?
2> You mentioned you’ve tried “all the usual fixes” , could you list what you’ve already attempted? (e.g., clearing cache, reinstalling the app, updating, etc.) so I don’t suggest steps you’ve already done.
3> When you say you installed a Samsung update, was it a One UI update? If so, which version are you currently on? I also found some reports indicating that after updating to One UI 7.0, Microsoft Office apps (including OneNote) may lag or fail to open. Additionally, there’s a recent report about OneDrive app V7.45.1 (Android) not working with Android OS 16 on the SM-G736U (Xcover 6). Since OneNote stores data on OneDrive, this might be worth checking as well.
Could you confirm whether your OneNote files have been synced to the cloud (OneDrive) during your troubleshooting? This is important to ensure no data is lost.
