Why can't I copy from excel online anymore?

Up until late last week, I could copy from excel online to any other platform. Recently, my clipboard no longer copies from excel online. This is the only online microsoft office product that I have this problem with. I also can still copy from excel for desktop.

    As a first step, please try:

    • Checking the clipboard permissions for Excel Online in your browser and ensuring access is allowed.

    • Signing out and back into Microsoft 365, then reopening Excel Online.
    • Also, are you using the right‑click menu or keyboard shortcuts to copy and paste? Excel for the web commonly restricts right‑click copy actions due to browser security updates. Please try using Command + C to copy and Command + V to paste instead.
