How do I change my developer community email address?

The Developer Community (developercommunity.visualstudio.com) site, your email address is tied to your Microsoft account. That means you can’t directly change it from the Developer Community profile page itself. Here’s how you can update it:

Update your Microsoft Account email

  1) Go to the Microsoft Account page. 

  2) Sign in with the account you use for Developer Community.     

  3) Under __Your info → Account aliases, add a new email address or change your primary alias.

  4) Once your Microsoft Account email is updated, it will automatically reflect in Developer Community.

  5) Sometimes this takes a little while to propagate.

  6) You may not be able to change it yourself. In that case, you’ll need to contact your organization’s IT admin to update your Azure Active Directory profile.
