Why can't I delete files from my channel within teams PERSONAL

I have MS Teams for personal use, as part of my O365 subscription. It is not part of a workplace/school IT-managed ecosystem.

I am trying to use Teams for my study group fellow students of a course I am studying. I have created a community, and added some files, but need to delete one - and can't.

I have tried the meatball menu (...) and only have the following options:

Open in Browser
Download
Copy Link

I am the community owner and the subscription holder for the Microsoft account linked to the Teams App.

Why can't I delete or rename the file? and how can this be fixed?

Confirming the following reasons for rejecting the AI generated answer (which is the same as the google results I got before posting the question).

Storage is not full

Nobody else is using the file

I am the owner of the community and the only member of the community at this stage because I want to get it set up properly before adding people to it.

I have checked all the settings in Teams and my Microsoft account and can't see anything that would limit my access to modify or delete items within my own subscription or account.

If further settings ned to be adjusted, please provide further information. Also - noteworthy that I'm not using the FREE version of teams, I am actually paying for it. Functionality is expected otherwise this platform is not fit for its stated purpose.

Hello,

Unfortunately that's a bad UI design.

You would have to go find the file that's in the Post tab, hover over, click on the three dots, then find the delete opton.

Thank you. I did try that before and it didn't work. I ended up deleting the entire community and starting again. It worked this time though, so thanks!!
