Microsoft Excel:

I need to print row 1 on each page of a report when I am printing a spreadsheet. Much like the "Freeze pains for row 1" but when you print.

    Dear @Thomas Palmer,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that you're looking to print Row 1 as the title on each printed page. Please follow these steps to achieve that:

    Open the Print Titles Menu

This setting tells Excel exactly which rows to "lock" to the top of every single printed page.

    • Click on the Page Layout tab in the top ribbon.
    • In the Page Setup group, click the Print Titles button.

A small Page Setup dialog box will open on the Sheet tab.

    1. Locate the field labeled "Rows to repeat at top".
    2. Click inside that box, or click the small spreadsheet icon at the far right of the box.
    3. On your actual spreadsheet, click on the row number "1" on the far left. The box should now show $1:$1.
    4. Press Enter and then click OK to save.

You won't see row 1 repeating in your normal "Edit" view. You must check the preview to confirm it worked.

    • Press Ctrl + P on your keyboard to open Print Preview.
    • Scroll through the pages in the preview window; row 1 should now appear at the top of every page.

I hope this information is helpful. Please follow these steps and let me know if it works for you. If not, we can work together to resolve this. Thank you for your patience and understanding. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please feel free to share them in the comments so I can continue to support you. I'm looking forward to your reply.
