Please confirm whether the Team-level share link feature has been disabled or removed in the Microsoft Teams EDU configuration, and whether it can be restored or re-enabled.

Could you provide a screenshot of what it looks like on your end?

For example, if you create a new team using the available templates, do you encounter the same issue?

Are other people in your tenant experiencing this issue as well?

Symptoms:

No Team-level share option appears anywhere in the UI.

Teams desktop app always redirects to the General channel when using any generated link.

Browser sometimes opens the full Class Team interface, but desktop app does not.

This affects the ability to give students a link that opens the Class Home (Home page, Assignments, Grades, Class Notebook, etc.).

Dear @Tj Moran,

May I ask you a few questions? I’m asking because I don’t fully understand what you mean yet.

When you copy the link right next to the team's name, does it also redirect to the General channel, and your students don’t see tabs like Home, Class Notebook, Assignments, etc.? Is that correct?

And if your students join the class manually instead of using a link - for example, opening Teams > Class > selecting the class - do they see those tabs then?
