How to insert images, files, audio recordings and tables in OneNote on a Samsung tablet

This is a screenshot of Microsoft OneNote taken from my Samsung S11 tablet. On my phone, I can insert images, audio recordings, and tables. However, those options are not here. Is there something I am missing?
I have been trying to add an image but the image always shows as an image icon and when I click on it, the link takes me to the gallery of the tablet, instead of opening on the page. Is there anyway around this?

Before we go deeper into troubleshooting, may I first check with you: have you already tried reinstalling the OneNote app on your Samsung tablet? Sometimes the app components on Android tablets may behave like that, and a clean reinstall may help reset the interface.Also, if you copy and paste an image on OneNote for Android, it will often appear only as an image icon/thumbnail, not as a full inline picture. OneNote for Android Tablet may treat pasted images as attachments, and tapping the icon opens the Samsung Gallery app. This may be expected behavior on Android tablets. So, if you want the image to appear inline, you need to use Insert > choose Camera icon to insert a picture.

Besides that, I have several workarounds for you to avoid interrupting your workflow:

Use OneNote Web (https://www.onenote.com) in your browser for full editing capabilities.
If possible, use OneNote on Windows (or Mac), which provides the complete feature set.

Using the camera icon does not help because I'm trying to attach screenshots. Honestly, I think using OneNote web defeats the purpose of having the app but it seems to be the only solution for now.
