How to streamline self marking for students on teams?

If your intention is to use a grading rubric: 

Microsoft Teams allows educators to create and attach rubrics to assignments. This feature helps define clear evaluation criteria and performance levels, ensuring transparency and consistency in grading. Students can view the rubric before submission, which helps them understand expectations. To add a rubric: 

1. Navigate to Assignments in your class team. 
2. Select Create and choose Assignment. 
3. Click Add rubric. 
4. You can create a new rubric or reuse an existing one. 

Once attached, you can use the rubric to grade submissions, and students will see the feedback aligned with the criteria.

If your intention is to provide correct answers for self-marking after submission: 

Currently, Teams does not support conditional release of files or automatic delivery of answer keys upon submission. For this scenario, I recommend using Microsoft Forms to create a self-marking quiz. Forms allows you to: 

• Build questions that mirror your homework content. 
• Enable automatic feedback so students see correct answers immediately after submitting.  This approach ensures students cannot access the answers before completing their work and provides instant feedback for learning.
