When viewing members (Manage Team/Members) i can not change the width of the columns. Is it possible to do this or to delete columns I am not using so member full names will be displayed.

Hi @Cheryl Little,

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

I can understand how important it is to see everyone’s full names clearly when managing a team.

At the moment, the Members & guests list in Manage team unfortunately does not support resizing column widths or hiding specific columns. While recent Teams updates have introduced resizable elements, such as the left rail and certain side panels, these improvements have not yet been extended to individual columns in the Members view.

That said, there are a few practical workarounds you might consider:

1/ Maximize the app or adjust zoom:

You can widen the Teams window and increase the zoom level to reduce text wrapping. This often helps names display more fully. Microsoft’s guidance for Teams apps also notes that layouts are designed to remain legible up to 200% zoom.

Reference: Layout and scaling for your Microsoft Teams app.

2/ Use the Teams admin center (for owners/admins):

If you have the necessary permissions, the Teams admin center provides a more flexible way to view and manage membership. By going to Teams > Manage teams, selecting your team, and opening the Members tab, you can review the roster and even choose which columns to display using Edit columns this is useful if you only need certain fields.

Reference: Manage teams in the Microsoft Teams admin center.

3/ View or download membership outside the Teams client:

Since every team corresponds to a Microsoft 365 Group, you can also review or export membership from the Microsoft 365 admin center. Navigate to Teams & groups > Active teams & groups > [your group] > Membership to see owners and members. Alternatively, the Entra (Azure AD) portal can be used to export the list for easier offline review.

Reference: Manage a group in the Microsoft 365 admin center.

4/ Share feedback with the product team:

If column customization would significantly improve your workflow, as it would for many users, I strongly encourage you to submit this as product feedback. Attaching a screenshot can help illustrate the need clearly.

You can do this in Teams by selecting Help > Feedback, or through the Microsoft 365 Feedback Hub > Send Feedback > Describe your proposal in detail so the team can consider it for future improvements.
