    Hi John,

Thanks for reaching out. I understand how frustrating this can be when renewals end up under the wrong account. I'm here to help!

Unfortunately, Microsoft does not allow transferring a subscription from one account to another, which is why this situation can feel limiting.

The best step for this is to contact Microsoft Store support within 30 days to request a refund, then repurchase the subscription under the correct email and turn off recurring billing on the wrong account.

I hope you find this information helpful. Please let me know if you have any further questions If the answer is helpful, please click "Accept Answer".

    Regards,

    Carlo

To fix the issue of your Microsoft 365 subscription being under the wrong email address, you will need to update the email address associated with your account. Here are the steps you can follow:

    1. Sign in to the Admin Portal: Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center and sign in with your current admin credentials.
    2. Manage Administrators: Select Manage administrators from the admin center.
    3. Add New Email: If you are a super admin, you can add your new email address and ensure to select the Super admin checkbox. This is crucial to maintain your admin privileges.
    4. Do Not Delete Current Email: Make sure not to delete your current email address until the new one is active to avoid losing access.
    5. Update Subscribers: If there are other subscribers under your account, you may need to update their email addresses as well after the changes are made.

If you encounter any issues, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance.
