    Hello @icogz Technologies Ltd ,

Thank you for sharing the complete error message with the query.

Your root cause behind the VM creation failure is the error code "QuotaExceeded",

Operation could not be completed as it results in exceeding approved standardNVSv4Family Cores quota

    What does this mean?

This means that your subscription doesn't have the quota to create standard NVSv4 Family sized VMs in the region and you need atleast 8 vCPU cores to create your selected VM size.

    Reference: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-resource-manager/troubleshooting/error-resource-quota?tabs=azure-cli

What can be done to fix it?

    Solution:

Process to increase quota increase is listed out here as well: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-resource-manager/troubleshooting/error-resource-quota?tabs=azure-cli#solution

    or

you can follow my instructions below to request the adjustable quota to increase Azure VM Instances limit in Southeast Asia region for the VM family standardNVSv4Family.

    1. Navigate to this link to start the process:

    https://portal.azure.com/#view/Microsoft_Azure_Capacity/QuotaMenuBlade/~/overview

    2. Enter quota in the box and click Go

    1. Set filters for the VM family name "standard NVSv4 Family" and select your subscription and the desired region (in this case, it's SouthEast Asia).

Then on the right, look for the adjustable column and click on the pen icon (edit icon)

    1. Once you click on that icon, it'll allow you to enter the new limit and submit the request.

It'll run the operation and you can track it in "Activity logs" and once that is done, you can review your quota from the same portal and retry VM creation.

    Hi,

Please navigate to link below to request quota increase:

    https://portal.azure.com/#view/Microsoft_Azure_Capacity/QuotaMenuBlade/~/myQuotas

At top click on Region filter and select Southeast Asia and then in the filter box enter nvsv4 Once the results are displayed, click on the pencil icon to the right of Standard NVSv4 Family vCPUs, fill out form to request at least 8 vCPUs and Submit.

If your quota request is approved try creating your VM again and it should succeed this time.

    Thanks.
