How do I enable multiplayer for Minecraft?

Hello there, I have recently bought and downloaded the Minecraft Launcher.

Yet, I cannot access the multiplayer. I have tried all suggestions, such as allowing multiplayer for my account and still nothing, and my account is not a child account.

Though I did make this account when I was a minor, I am now an adult. I do not have a family account, nor a child account. Again, I am a fully grown adult.

How can I possibly enable multiplayer?
