Skype chats and contacts missing after failed migration to Microsoft Teams

I have recovered my Skype account and signed in to Microsoft Teams.

Teams previously showed “Your Skype chats and contacts are ready”, but migration failed with an error.

Now no Skype chats or contacts are visible in Teams.

I cannot contact Microsoft Support because the support request page is blocked in my region.

Please escalate this case to Microsoft Support and reset or manually complete the Skype-to-Teams migration for my account.

What Login ID have you used when signing in to Teams application? Was this Login ID exactly the same as used with Skype?

Please, post a screenshot of the error message you received when starting Teams.

Also, login with your Skype account to Skype data export site and try to export the chat and file history.

To clarify:

I have already retried the migration multiple times.
The migration message “Your Skype chats and contacts are ready” appeared, but clicking “Get started” always resulted in an error.
I waited more than 48 hours, logged in via web browser (including incognito), and checked chats and search — no Skype chats or contacts are visible.
I am using the latest version of Teams (web).

This confirms that the issue is not on the client side but a failed or stuck Skype-to-Teams migration on the account level.

I am unable to contact Microsoft Support directly because the support request page is blocked in my region.

Please escalate this case to a Microsoft moderator or support engineer who can:

check my account migration status,
reset or manually complete the Skype-to-Teams migration,
or advise how I can access my Skype chat history and contacts archive.
