Why can't my students view their assignments?

Why can't my students view their assignments? They receive a notification that the assignment has been assigned to them, but when they click on the assignment, it says, "Looks like you haven't been added to this assignment." What does that mean? The students are added in the team a member already.

    Update the students assigned to the existing assignment

    1. Open the affected assignment.
    2. Click the three‑dots (…) menu in the top‑right corner.
    3. Select Edit assignment.

    Enable automatic assignment for new students

    1. Go to your Class Team.
    2. Open Assignments.
