10 StandardCores per region supposed to be 100

Over the past 48 hours, our production workloads have been interrupted and materially degraded due to unexpectedly low “StandardCores” quota assignments in Azure Container Instances (ACI). We are currently being limited to 10 StandardCores per region, which is far below our expected operational baseline and the documented default quota for ACI compute (100 cores per region). This is causing frequent task scheduling failures and blocking case processing at scale. This was not the case until recently.

Hello @Ozgur Bora Gevrek ,I understand that it can feel a bit concerning when the default quota suddenly drops, but don’t worry—these limits can easily be increased by submitting a support request. To request an increase of one or more resources that support such an increase, submit an Azure support request (select "Quota" for Support type).

Additionally they can confirm the reason behind the same on why your subscription is limited to 10 StandardCores per region. This could be something limited to your subscription plan changes (for example if the subscription was entitled to Enterprise Agreement or not).

If you need our support, we can hop on a quick Teams call. I’ve sent you a private message asking for a few details—please take a look and share them when you can.”
