Hi Stephanie, thanks for sharing that. When a Teams meeting doesn’t show in your calendar after accepting, it usually means Teams isn’t syncing properly with your Outlook or default calendar. This often happens if the account used in Teams isn’t the same one set up in Outlook, or if calendar permissions are off. First, can you confirm if you’re signed in to Teams and Outlook with the same email? Also, check if the meeting invite appears in your Outlook inbox and if you can see it in Outlook’s calendar. If it’s missing there too, the issue might be with the mailbox rather than Teams. If it’s in Outlook but not in Teams, try clearing Teams cache instead of reinstalling. Let me know if you’re using the desktop app or web version, and if your calendar is managed through Exchange or another service like Google.

    Best,

    Rez

If you have accepted a Teams meeting invite but it is not showing up in your calendar, there are several potential causes to consider:

    1. Meeting Request Handling: Sometimes, meeting requests may not be routed to your Inbox and could instead appear in other folders, such as Deleted Items. This can occur due to specific settings or filters in your Outlook or Teams configuration.
    2. Mailbox Delegate Configuration: If you do not have a mailbox delegate, this might lead to issues with how meeting requests are processed. It's important to check your mailbox settings to ensure they are configured correctly.
    3. Synchronization Problems: If you access Teams from multiple devices or clients, synchronization issues might prevent the meeting from appearing in your calendar. Make sure all devices are properly synced.
    4. Exchange Mailbox Version: If your Exchange mailbox is hosted on-premises and is an older version than Exchange 2016 CU3, you may encounter limitations with meeting functionality. Upgrading to a newer version could resolve these issues.
    5. Spam Filter Interference: Occasionally, meeting invitations may be caught by spam filters. It’s a good idea to check your spam or junk folders to see if the invites have been misclassified.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, consider reaching out to your IT support or exploring the Microsoft Community for additional help.
