How to fix Teamsbackground with Intune

Hi

I currently have an Intune script that installs the team backgrounds for users. However, users have to select the background themselves. How can I automatically activate the copied background (also with Intune)?

The supported way to go about this is usings Teams Premiums: Admins can select default background Images for Users.

How to:

Upload up to 50 org-approved images.

Set a default background for all users.

Restrict users from uploading personal images.

Steps:

Go to Teams Admin Center > Meetings > Customization Policies.

Enable “Use background images from my organization”.

Upload images (JPG/PNG, 360x360 to 3840x2160).

Assign the policy to users. Requires Teams Premium license for affected users. If you don’t have Teams Premium and still want “auto-activate” via Intune, you Deploy images via Intune (PowerShell/Win32 app) so they are available in Teams, but users must pick them; no supported auto-activation exists based on my research, but I will still check internally on this.
