I'm trying to use Powerpoint Live in a Teams meeting with no luck.

Currently, the full PowerPoint Live feature—which embeds slides directly into the meeting interface—is an exclusive feature for Teams for Work or School (Commercial/Enterprise) accounts that include SharePoint and OneDrive for Business.

While Microsoft introduced the ability for personal accounts to join and view PowerPoint Live presentations in June 2025, the ability to initiate a presentation using these tools is not yet available in the Personal edition. Consequently, your "Share" tray will only display Screen and Window sharing options.

3. Attendees can click the link in the chat without leaving the meeting view.

Option 2: Share a "View Only" File

1. Upload your PowerPoint file to your OneDrive.
2. Generate a Share link and set the permissions to "View Only."
3. Paste this link in the chat at the start of the meeting.
4. Audience members can open the file in a browser tab to click links while following your voice and screen share.
