To use PowerPoint Live in a Teams meeting, ensure that you meet the following prerequisites:
- File Location: The PowerPoint presentation must be saved on OneDrive for Business or SharePoint.
- User Token: Your application must obtain a valid user token for accessing the OneDrive for Business or SharePoint resource.
- Microsoft 365 Account: You need to be signed in with a Microsoft 365 account.
- Supported File Type: The PowerPoint file must be in a supported format, such as .pptx, .ppsx, .potx, .pptm, or .ppsm.
If you have confirmed that all these conditions are met and still do not see the option to use PowerPoint Live, it may be due to the meeting policy settings. The ability to share PowerPoint presentations is controlled by per-user policies, and external participants inherit the policy of the meeting organizer. You might want to check if your meeting policy allows sharing PowerPoint presentations.
Additionally, ensure that you are using the latest version of Teams and that your account is properly configured to access PowerPoint Live features.
