My Outlook moves unread items when deleted, to the unread box, not the deleted box. How do you fix it?

If your Outlook is moving unread items to a different folder instead of the Deleted Items folder, it could be due to a filter applied to the default view settings of the Outlook folder. To resolve this issue, you can change the filtering options. Here’s how to do it for Outlook 2010 and later versions:

1. In the ribbon, select the View tab.
