To access the settings for your camera background in Microsoft Teams, you can follow these steps:
- Open Microsoft Teams and go to the Meetings section.
- Select Meeting Policies and either choose an existing policy or create a new one.
- In the Audio and Video section, look for the setting labeled Participants can use video effects. This setting controls whether users can customize their video background.
- You can set it to allow users to blur their background, choose from default backgrounds, or upload custom images.
If you want to restrict users to only use backgrounds you upload, you can configure a preset background policy in the Customization policies section.
Additionally, users can manage their uploaded backgrounds by navigating to the following file path on their computer:
C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local\Packages\MSTeams_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Microsoft\MSTeams\Backgrounds\Uploads.
This allows you to set up and customize your camera background for selected video calls effectively.
