In fact, this is not a questionm but an advice. I used to have a problem: No event created in Calendar of MS Teams showed up in the Team concerned.

I have found an official answer on this website stating that - contrary to other incorrect information published earlier - this could not be done, due to the limitations of the code. (So deleting the cache of Teams or other suggested remedies would not solve that problem at all.)

However, the other direction works flawlessly: When creating an event in MS Teams, please, FORGET CALENDAR. Create it directly form the very Team (of the desired attendance). Then your event will appear instantaneously in Calendar, too.

    Dear @Bányász István

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Thank you for confirming that key point. As you said, this is the golden rule when creating a Teams meeting related to a channel:

"To ensure an event is visible to all members and appears both in the Team's feed and their personal calendars, always initiate the event directly from the Team Channel, not the main Calendar view."

And I fully agree with your suggestion. This is a common issue that many Teams users encounter. If this information is highlighted and made easily accessible (accepted as the answer) within the community, it will save a lot of time for others who are struggling with this calendar synchronization error.

Thank you once again for this helpful share!

Creating an event in Microsoft Teams can indeed be done more effectively by starting from the Team itself rather than the Calendar. When you create an event directly from the Team, it ensures that the event is linked to the appropriate group and will appear in both the Team and the Calendar. This method helps avoid the issue where events created in the Calendar do not show up in the Team.

To create an event from a Team:

    1. Navigate to the Team where you want to create the event.
    2. Look for the option to create an event (this may be in the Posts tab or under the Calendar tab within the Team).
    3. Fill in the event details and save it.

This approach ensures that all team members are notified and that the event is properly integrated into the Team's activities.
