Intune client synchronization and enrollment issues since yesterday

Since yesterday morning, we have been experiencing significant issues with Microsoft Intune:

Client synchronization issues: Clients react to Win32 app assignments with heavy delay or not at all, even after multiple manual synchronizations. In the AppActionProcessor logs, affected apps are tagged as "The app will not be enforced" despite having active install or uninstall assignments. At times, no synchronization seems to occur at all, even after repeated sync attempts.

  • Enrollment issues: During device enrollment, computer certificates are not applied during the setup phase, preventing enrollments from completing.

We have tested this behavior with multiple clients across different networks, and the problem persists consistently.

Could you please investigate this issue or confirm whether there is a known service incident related to Intune synchronization and certificate deployment? Thank you

    Hello Zurbuchen, Simon,

I couldn’t find any outstanding issues reported internally. As a next step, you can try troubleshooting specific to Win32 app deployment and device enrollment:

Troubleshoot device enrollment in Intune - Intune | Microsoft Learn

If you have already gone through these or they don't resolve the issue, please reach out to support from here: Get support in the Microsoft Intune admin center | Microsoft Learn

    Hope this helps!
