To obtain a Windows 10 Extended Security Updates (ESU) key, you need to follow certain steps. If you have purchased ESU licenses, you can activate them on each Windows 10 device using a Multiple Activation Key (MAK) that you can find in the Microsoft 365 admin center. Make sure you have the Product Key Reader or VL Administrator role assigned to your Microsoft Entra ID account to view the MAK.
Here are the steps to locate your ESU license MAK:
- In the admin center, go to the Billing > Your Products page, then select the Volume licensing tab.
- In the Contracts section, select View contracts.
- Find the License ID for the ESU licenses purchased, select the three dots (More actions), and then select View product keys. This will show you the product keys associated with that contract.
If you cannot find your MAK, you may need to contact volume licensing support for assistance.
