I've tried watching a tutorial to add Google Calendar to Teams, but I don't have the 'add calendar' option that was stated in the video.

Is there a toggle that I need to click? Somewhere?

    Dear @Norma Greenslade,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A Forum.

I understand you are trying to integrate your Google Calendar into your Microsoft Teams calendar view but are missing the 'Add calendar' option shown in the tutorial. From my research, the core issue is that there is no native, user-facing feature in the main Teams Calendar tab that allows direct subscription to an external calendar like Google Calendar. If a tutorial showed this option, it may have been related to a specific education tenant setup, a planned but unreleased feature, or a third-party application.

To give you the most accurate and helpful solution, I need to understand exactly what you are trying to view and which tutorial you were following. Please clarify the following details:

    • What kind of account is this? Is it a Work/School account (managed by an organization's IT department) or a Personal account (e.g., Outlook.com, Live.com)?
    • What is your Microsoft 365 user license? (e.g., E3, E5, Business Standard, etc.)
    • Are you looking at the main Calendar App on the left navigation rail of Teams (where your meetings are)? (This location does not support external calendar import.)
    • OR, are you inside a specific Team Channel, trying to add the calendar as a new tab at the top of the channel?
    • Are you trying to see your personal Google Calendar in Teams?
    • OR, are you trying to see a shared team/group Google Calendar?
    • Could you please provide the link to the tutorial video you were watching? This will help us identify the specific feature or workaround that the video was demonstrating and why it might not be available to you.

Once I have this information, I can provide the most suitable workaround or explanation for the missing option. Thank you for your patience and understanding. I look forward to your reply.
