Norton update as corrupted some files and cannot longer log in to my laptop as it does not recognise the correct PIN number. It says PIN incorrect.

Norton security has updated some files on my Lenovo laptop and I cannot longer login onto it. I get a message saying that something went wrong with face set up and that I should sign in with my PIN. When I enter the correct PIN number the system advises that the PIN is incorrect. I believe because of the corrupted files the correct PIN can no longer be identified. The system doesn’t allow the option of logging in with a password, nor enter a new PIN. I’m logged out and not able to use my computer. I’ve asked NORTON if it was possible for them to uninstall their update and they advised they cannot unless I can login to my laptop. Their recommendation was that the only way forward is to contact Microsoft for help with this issue. Any assistance will be much appreciated. Very many thanks.
