Outlook desktop app intermittently stops sending or receiving emails

My Outlook occasionally stops sending or receiving new emails. The status bar shows “Connected to Microsoft Exchange”, but no messages update until I restart Outlook. Once restarted, all pending emails sync immediately.

I’ve already tried creating a new profile, disabling add-ins and Network connection is stable

    Please go to Send/Receive tab > Show Progress, check if any issue is listed there.

    When the message is not updated, if you press this button, does it update the emails?
