    Dear @D B,

Good day! Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum!

Based on your description, I understand that MS Word on your iPad Pro (6th Gen) has stopped working. It freezes even after reinstalling, and you’ve noticed it’s been acting unreliable for about a month now.

I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by this issue. Thank you for taking the time and effort to try reinstalling the app.

After researching, I have found that many users have reported similar issues with Word on iPad.

However, this is not yet on Microsoft 365 Admin Center Service health.

Therefore, to address this matter effectively, I suggest reaching out to your organization’s IT administrator. They can acknowledge the issue and Report an issue in Service Health in Microsoft 365 Admin Center, enabling the product team to take appropriate action.

Additionally, the product team can be notified via the in-app Feedback feature. On the Word for iOS Home screen, choose your profile icon in the upper-left corner, then navigate to Help & Feedback to provide your input.

For now, the temporary workarounds that I recommend are:

    • Sign in to your account and use Word online via Safari or Chrome
    • Use your PC to access Word desktop app instead

Once again, I'm very sorry for the inconvenience that this issue has caused. I appreciate your patience and understanding as we address this issue.

Kindly let me know when there are updates or if you need further assistance. Any updates you’re able to share would be really helpful. I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing how things are going!

Thank you for your time and patience.
