Performance degraded after upgrading VM from Standard_B4ms to Standard_B8ms

Hello,
I recently resized my Azure VM from Standard_B4ms (4 vCPUs, 16 GiB RAM) to Standard_B8ms (8 vCPUs, 32 GiB RAM). However, after the upgrade, I noticed that the VM performance has degraded significantly — the system feels slower, and CPU responsiveness is poor.
Details:
VM Type: B-series (burstable)
- I stopped and resized the VM via Azure Portal.
- After restart, CPU credits seem low and performance is inconsistent.
Questions:
Any recommendations to restore performance immediately?
Thank you,
Sanjay
