i cant use shortcut ctrl at volor categories, how to fix it? but it worked before

I completely understand how inconvenient and frustrating it can be when the shortcut color categories don’t work as expected 

To better assist you, may I clarify a quick point: when you mentioned “my Microsoft Exchange,” were you referring to Outlook? 

If so, based on what I’ve found, the shortcut color categories feature is currently only available in the Classic Outlook desktop app. Unfortunately, this feature is not supported in the New Outlook version or Outlook on the web.

If you're using Classic Outlook, you can set up shortcut keys for color categories by following these steps: 

1. Go to the Home tab 
2. Click on Categorize 
3. Select Set Quick Click 
4. Choose your preferred color category 
5. Assign a shortcut key 

For the New Outlook, while the shortcut color categories aren’t available in the same way, you can use Quick Steps as a workaround. Quick Steps allow you to create shortcuts for actions like “Categorize Message” with either a specific color or "AlwaysAskForCatergory". You can also assign a shortcut key in the optional section of the Quick Step setup. 

I truly understand that Quick Steps in the new Outlook may feel limited compared to the shortcut color category feature available in Classic Outlook. To help bring this functionality to the new Outlook version in the future, I highly recommend sharing your suggestion through the Microsoft Feedback Portal.
