Hi Karen Guillot,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!
I understand how frustrating it can be when you're expecting to print multiple pages but everything ends up squeezed onto one. To best assist you, could you please tell me what your Windows versions and the type of printer you're using? The more details you can give will help us figure out the most suitable solution. In the meantime, here's something you can check:
1 - Print settings:
- Pages per sheet: Set this to 1.
- Scale or Fit to page: Set to 100% or Actual size.
- Paper size: Ensure it matches your printer’s default (e.g., A4 or Letter).
2 - Printer preferences:
- Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners
- Select your printer > Printing preferences
- Look for layout or scaling options > reset to default.
3 - Try printing from a different app:
What is the program you are printing from? The issue only happened with that file, that exact type of file, or everything you printed ended up small?
If the issue only happened with a specific application (browser or PDF viewer), try opening the file in another app (e.g., Word or Adobe Reader) and test printing again.
4 - Update or reinstall printer driver:
- Open Device Manager > Expand Printers
- Right-click your printer > Update driver.
- Or visit the printer manufacturer’s website to download the latest driver.
If the issue persists, please let me know your Windows version, what app you're printing from and the printer model you're using. I’ll be happy to take the steps further.
