Hello,

Having issues with Microsoft Bookings: the time that my pupils and I receive are set in USA central time zone, whereas we are all in GMT+1. Please fix this.

Another thing: I set the custom time to 20 minutes, however all my students book 15 or 30 minute time intervals as this is the only option they get. Please fix this.

Regards,

Teacher from the Netherlands

    Hello @Teacher

    Welcome to Q&A forum!

Regarding your first concern about the Microsoft Bookings time zone, I found a helpful Microsoft article that addresses this issue. It outlines two methods for setting the time zone: one for the Booking Calendar and another for the booking page. You can adjust the settings based on your specific needs.

Here are my image guidance steps to support you:

Set time zone for a booking calender (New Outlook)

Guidance*: Outlook settings (Gear Icon) -> General -> Language and time -> Time zone -> Click on "Change"*

Setting time zone for a booking page

Guidance: select your Booking page -> Region and time zone settings -> select your current time zone and choose OKUser's image

To update your time zone settings: Go to your Booking pageRegion and time zone settings → Select your current time zone → Click OK.

Regarding your second concern: Although you've set a custom duration of 20 minutes, students can only book sessions in 15 or 30 minute intervals.

About this concern, I need to confirm some information to make sure we are on the same page:

As I have created a Booking page, I see that Microsoft Bookings have both "Service Duration" and "Time From–To" and these two settings serve different purposes:

     1. Service Duration

    • This defines how long each appointment lasts.
    • Example: If you set it to 30 minutes, each booking will be scheduled for 30 minutes.

    2. Time From–To

    • This sets your working hours or availability window for that service.
    • Example: If you set 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, customers can only book appointments during that time range.

For example, if you have set the custom time for "Service Duration" in 20 minutes, after booking with this booking page, you will receive the email like this image:

Besides, if you want to change the time intervals as shown in the image below, follow these steps to adjust the "Time Increments" in your "Booking page settings".

    User's image

Guidance: "Settings" -> "Booking page" -> "Default scheduling policy' -> "Time increments" -> Adjust this time -> Click "Save"

Configure Time Increments: This controls the time slots customers will see when booking (e.g., 8:15, 9:00, 9:45, 10:30, etc.)

If any information is unclear, please reach out to me again and drop a few details in the comment so I can support you better.
