From what I am seeing, Windows Updates in Intune does not let you set granular maintenance Windows. For example every Tuesday - Wednesday from 10pm - 3am. Is this correct, if so why? You could do this with SCCM.

Intune does not support granular, multi‑day maintenance windows like “Tuesday–Wednesday from 22:00 to 03:00.” The Windows Update Ring policy only allows a single daily maintenance window, defined by:

    Start time

    Duration (up to 22 hours)

This means you can create a window such as 22:00–03:00, but it will apply every day, not on specific days of the week.

This limitation exists because Intune’s update orchestration is built around simplified cloud‑based policies, not the more advanced, SCCM‑style servicing windows. SCCM’s maintenance windows are part of its on‑premises Configuration Manager agent, which supports complex schedules — Intune’s Windows Update for Business policies do not.
