my local disk c and files inside of it are showing different amount of used space/size when i check for their properties

Hi ,

This is because Windows files remain hidden, which are necessary system files, and are protected. You can enable hidden files for system files; they are not directly counted in the selection.

There's also the TreeSyze program that lists applications along with their space and path.

To show hidden files, go to Windows Explorer > View > Folder Options > Viewer > Show hidden files and uncheck Show system files.
