Cameo stops before it is done in PowerPoint presentation

Created two PowerPoints using Cameos. In one, the Cameo on each slide stops before the Cameo recording is completed. What do I need to do to make sure the Cameo does not stop midway?

Hi @Cook, Andrea Marie

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I understand you're experiencing an issue where the Cameo recordings in one of your PowerPoint presentations stop playing before they finish.

To ensure your Cameo videos play through completely on each slide, please check the following:

  1. Check the duration of the Cameo Video on each Slide:
    • Go to each slide with a Cameo.
    • Select the Cameo object.
    • In the Playback tab, check the Trim Video settings. Make sure the video isn’t accidentally trimmed.
  2. Check animation settings:
    • Go to the Animations tab.
    • Make sure the Cameo is set to start Automatically or With Previous, and not On Click (unless you want manual control).
    • Also, ensure there are no conflicting animations that might interrupt the video.
  3. Ensure slide duration matches video lLength:
    • If the slide transitions before the Cameo finishes, the video will be cut off.
    • Go to the Transitions tab and check the Advance Slide timing.
    • Either disable “Advance Slide” or set the timing to match or exceed the Cameo video length.
  4. Review presentation mode settings:
    • If you're using Presenter View or exporting to video, test the playback to ensure Cameos behave consistently.
    • Sometimes exporting to video can cause timing issues if slide durations aren’t set properly.
  5. Update PowerPoint:
    • Make sure you're using the latest version of PowerPoint. Cameo is a relatively new feature and updates often fix bugs related to media playback.

While our initial response might not always resolve the issue right away, your input and any additional details you can share will really help us work together toward a solution

If you need any further guidance or any question, feel free to let me know.

Best regards,
