Paid for service three times and still no service

I have paid for the same service twice. I cannot activate the office suite - it downloaded, but is not in my apps. I would like to use the cloud service all at once so that I have 5 TB of storage, as all of the information is the same across my computers. I own all the computers and have duplicate information on them.

    Hi @Susan J Crawford-Young,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum and sharing your experience.

I understand how difficult it must be to pay multiple times and still not have access to the service you need. Here are some steps you can try to fix the issue:

    1. If you've downloaded Office but can't activate it or find it in your apps, try the following steps:

    • Sign in with the correct Microsoft account: Make sure you're using the same account you used to purchase Office. If you use the wrong account, Office won’t recognize your subscription. You can check your subscription status at Microsoft Subscriptions.
    • Check for multiple Office installations: Having more than one version of Office installed can cause conflicts. Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features, search for "Office", and uninstall any duplicate versions
    • Run the Microsoft 365 Activation Troubleshooter: This tool can automatically detect and fix activation issues. You can find it here.

    2. Once you've downloaded Office:

    • Go to microsoft365.com and sign in.
    • Click Install Office and run the downloaded OfficeSetup.exe file.
    • After installation, use the Windows search bar to find apps like Word, Excel, or PowerPoint.
    • You may need to sign in again to activate the apps and connect them to your cloud storage
    • For more detail, you can see at: Download and install apps

    3. Using Microsoft 365 cloud storage across devices

You can install Office on multiple devices (PCs, Macs, tablets, phones), but only five devices can be signed in at the same time.

    • OneDrive Storage: Each Microsoft 365 Personal account includes 1 TB of OneDrive storage. Even with a Family plan, each user gets their own 1 TB, there’s no way to combine them into a single 5 TB pool.

If you're seeing duplicate data across devices, OneDrive can help sync files automatically. Just make sure you're signed into the same Microsoft account on each device.

I hope the above information is helpful for you. If there's anything else I can help you with, please feel free to reach out again.

Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation.
