Been unable to install new Teams for months

Good afternoon,

For months I have been unable to install the 'new' MS Teams. Everytime I try to run the installer I get told that setup failed and that I should contact the author. I have deleted the whole MS Teams cache.

The setup file looks like the attached file.

Any help?

Thank you in advance.

Are you signed in to your PC with an administrator account pr is your computer managed by your school/office administration?

According to the setup log, setup fails because the installation attempts to install the New Teams application on the D: drive, which is not accessible.

I'm afraid, you would need administrator privileges in order to change the installation path.

Have you changed the installation folder for Microsoft Store apps?

"Windows cannot install package MSTeams_25198.1109.3837.4725_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe to volume D: with media ID {20202020-2020-2020-E981-3C1B09430D9B} because the volume is offline."

You can try to change the installation folder to the default location on the C: drive.

Note that the default location of Microsoft Store apps is:

    C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\
