We used to have the option to "post in multiple channels" via a drop down menu. I no longer see that option.

    Hello @REBECCA ORTEGA

Thank you for posting your valuable question on Microsoft Q&A forum.

To understand your situation better, can you confirm this following information:

I would really appreciate if you can provide the screenshots describing your issue. (Please remember to remove any personal information before updating any information on this forum.)  Based on the content you've shared, here are possible reasons and solutions for the missing "Post in multiple channels" feature in Microsoft Teams:

    Check your channel's layout

There are currently 2 types of channel layout in Teams-Threads and Posts, each has a different way to Post in multiple channels :

    For Threads layout:

    • In the Conversations tab, choose Action and apps (+) icon > Post in other channels.

    • You'll see 2 options, please kindly choose the option you want.

For Posts layout, you can try these 2 methods:

    Method 1:

    • Under the Posts tab, select Start a new post or Start a post
    • At the top right of the new post box, select Settings   > (Post in) Multiple channels.
    • Select + to add more channels to post to.
    • Choose the channels you want to cross-post to, or use search to find a channel. You can post wherever you're a member. Select Update to save.

Note: If you show new posts at the top, you will see Start a new post. If you show new post at the bottom, you will see Start a post. To choose your preference, select More channel options .

Or you can follow the instruction in Post a message to multiple channels - Microsoft Support

Method 2: This is currently the interface of my testing environment

    • In the Posts tab, Select Post in channel

    User's image

    • Select Actions and Apps (+) icon > Choose Post in other channels

    User's image

    • You'll see 2 option: This channel and Multiple channels. Then you can choose the option you wanted.

    Use the Desktop Application

If you're currently using Microsoft Teams on the web, please try switching to the Teams desktop app. Channels feature might not fully supported for Team online.

In my current testing, this feature is not available although I tried all the steps above:

    Clear Teams Cache

    On Windows:

    • Navigate to your Taskbar and look for the Microsoft Teams icon. Right-click the icon and choose Quit. This will force the Teams app to quit.
    • Next, copy and paste the following location into File Explorer: %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams, and delete the contents of the entire folder.
    • Restart Microsoft Teams by opening the application and logging back in.

    On a Mac:

    • Right-click the Teams icon in the taskbar and choose Quit.
    • Next, delete the directory ~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams.
    • Restart Microsoft Teams by opening the application and logging back in.

Note: Deleting the cache won't remove Microsoft Teams from your device, but will remove the web client cache, icons, thumbnails, local message history, your Teams display images, and any other Teams add-ons.

Please understand that our initial response does not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.
