Hi all, while working on Powerpoint and attempting to use Microsoft Copilot I am not able to generate a presentation from a specific file that is stored in my One Drive account. I have a Microsoft 365 Family License and everything is working properly while using Word or Excel. What am I doing wrong or missing?

Thanks for your help!

Hi there,

I’m Cherrelyn, and I’m here to help.

You're not doing anything wrong! The reason Copilot can’t create a PowerPoint from your Word file is that Microsoft 365 Family plans currently don’t include full access to Copilot in PowerPoint that feature is only available on eligible business and enterprise plans. That’s why it works in Word and Excel, but not in PowerPoint. For now, you can copy key points from your Word file into PowerPoint manually or try using the Designer feature to assist with layout.

I hope this helps, and if you have any questions, feel free to reply to this post.

Warm regards,

Cherrelyn
