Hi there, frederic! This is Marc. Thanks for reaching out to the community.
To download Minecraft on your iMac, go to the official Minecraft website at https://www.minecraft.net, click on “Get Minecraft,” then choose “Computer” and select “Mac” as your platform. Once you sign in or complete your purchase, you’ll be able to download the Minecraft Launcher for macOS.
Just a quick heads-up on Mac, you’ll be getting the Java Edition, which is the only version officially supported for macOS. That means you’ll be able to play with other Java players, but not with those using the Bedrock Edition (like on consoles or Windows 10/11). After installation, just sign in with your Microsoft account.
Let me know how it goes.
Best regards,
