Microsoft 365 - Recover Access to Global Admin Account Without Microsoft Authenticator

2025-07-30T07:07:30.5833333+00:00

There is a critical issue with accessing a Microsoft 365 tenant associated with the domain xxxx.

The login email is xxxx@, and the only global administrator recently changed phones, leading to a loss of access to the Microsoft Authenticator app. Backup codes or alternate MFA methods are not configured, resulting in complete lockout from the admin portal and company services. Attempts to use the recovery form have been unsuccessful for business accounts, and calls to Microsoft support at +7 (495) 213 1742 and 8800 080 1000 did not connect. Online support options through the Microsoft 365 admin center are unavailable due to the lost access.

Assistance is needed to:

  • Recover or reset MFA as the admin.
  • Prove domain ownership (access to DNS settings and billing info is available).
  • Urgently regain access to manage the Microsoft 365 account.

This matter is business-critical, and help or escalation steps would be greatly appreciated.

I tried registering a new account (office@sixsquad.store) to open a support ticket, but got the error: “The product is not available in this market.”

I’m based in Kazakhstan and urgently need help restoring access to our original admin account (or@sixsquad.store), which is locked due to lost Authenticator access.

Why is this product restricted in my region, and what are my next steps to recover our account?

    Hi Ордабаев Райымбек

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum support.

In this situation, since backup codes, alternate MFA methods, and phone support are not available and the only admin account has been locked out, I believe this is the most viable option.

You will need to access the Enterprise Collaboration and Productivity Tools | Office 365 E5

User's image From there, register for an E5 trial license (to avoid incurring any charges). Once the trial license is active, you can use it to create a new tenant. This will allow you to log in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and raise a support ticket through the portal.

Note: To avoid any unexpected charges, please make sure to manage your billing settings carefully and cancel the subscription before the trial period ends.

Hope my answer will help you, for any further support, let me know in the comment section
