    Hello,

Thank you for your prompt response, I apologize that none of the steps provided above worked and taking it to note, I suggest performing uninstalling and reinstalling your OneNote, that way we can also clear the application cache for OneNote

    Hello,

I tried the steps suggested and still the notes on my PC are'nt synced and some are missing. and on my Macbook, they are all gone!
On the two computers, there is no Sync/ Sync Status option, which I did have just a week ago.
    Both computers are updated.

Please help me find the problem, this is my main working tool.

    Best Regards

    Merav Levy

    Hello Merav Levy,

    Good morning,

Welcome to Microsoft Community, we are here to help

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, I understand that you need assistance with your OneNote not syncing and if you're experiencing sync issues with OneNote, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Check Your Internet Connection – Ensure you have a stable internet connection, as OneNote requires it to sync properly.
    2. Manually Sync Notebooks – Open OneNote, go to File > Info > View Sync Status, and click Sync Now next to the affected notebook.
    3. Check for Sync Errors – Look for error messages in the sync status dialog. These can provide clues about what might be causing the issue.
    4. Update OneNote – Make sure you're using the latest version of OneNote by going to File > Account > Update Options > Update Now.
    5. Clear OneNote Cache – Go to File > Options > Save & Backup, then click Optimize All Files Now. You can also manually delete cache files from `C:\Users

    [YourUserName]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\OneNote\16.0\cache`.

    1. Sign Out and Sign Back In – Go to File > Account, sign out, then sign back in to refresh the sync process.
    2. Check OneDrive or SharePoint Storage – If your notebook is stored on OneDrive or SharePoint, ensure there are no storage issues or service outages.

    Hope this helps!

    Best Regards,
