An integrated threat protection solution designed to detect, investigate, and respond to cyber threats across Microsoft 365 services.
Hello, Kevin Tighe1.
We appreciate you posting in Microsoft Community.
It has come to my attention that you want to remove Microsoft Defender from your A22.
I would like to try to provide you with some analysis and advice on this issue.
Since the problem occurs after Microsoft Defender is installed, this means that there may be a conflict between the talkback function in Defender and the audio function on your phone. This is an application level issue.
To uninstall it, this is done based on your Samsung phone's app management feature, as mentioned in the Microsoft support article:
For detailed information, please refer to:
Removing devices from your Microsoft Defender dashboard - Microsoft Support
For example, if you downloaded it from the Play Store, you can uninstall it by following these steps:
Go to the Play Store and click on your avatar:
Go to App Management:
You can then uninstall it by checking the box and clicking the Delete Trash button in the upper right corner.
If you need more help, feel free to let me know, I will continue to help you, you just need to share any follow-up questions you have.
Best Regards.
