  • Does your account use an @outlook.com/@hotmail.com email, or is it a work/school account (e.g., @company.com)?
  • Are you trying to install desktop app, or mobile app?
  • Is there any error message showing? Could you share the exact message that is showing when you try to access it? If possible, please provide a screenshot to help us diagnose the issue more effectively.

In the meantime, here are some troubleshoot methods I suggest you to try:  

Method 1: Restart Your Device 

Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve installation issues. 

Method 2: Reinstall OneDrive 

Download the latest version of OneDrive and install it again.

    My Onedrive got back to normal operation on Tuesday 17 June, 2025.

    Hello Alex,

    I'm glad to hear from you and thank you for your assistance.

    My Onedrive gets back to normal in the afternoon on Tuesday 17 June, 2025.

    Now, I can carry on my work on my laptop normally.
