I've just received a fake Microsoft Defender notification on my mobile, an Android Motorola. I won't click on it but would like to report it. I was on mobile data when it appeared. The notification isn't in English.

    Hi K.S_534,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Thank you very much for your report. Your approach is absolutely correct. Clicking on suspicious notifications without caution could redirect your device to phishing links, potentially leading to loss of private information.

I will escalate this thread to the development team. Due to confidentiality agreements, I may not be able to share some progress with you. However, I have discovered the latest channel for developers to receive user feedback on issues. You can describe the time/device/Defender version when you encountered the notification as clearly as possible to the development team, and we will investigate this issue.

Give feedback to Microsoft Defender: https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/forum/d7dd1275-f65e-ed11-9562-000d3a4e3f39

Once again, thank you for reporting this issue to us; it is very important to Microsoft.

    Best Regards,

Thomas C - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
