How can we correct inaccurate translations?

I use the translation function for work to translate text from Japanese to English. I typically use this in TEAMS and OUTLOOK. Since August 8th, I've noticed an error in the translations I am seeing. Any time たい and タイ are translated to English, they appear as "Thailand." This is fine when referring to the country, but this happens even in the middle of a word.

For example:

 Type = タイプ

 Times = タイムズ

 To want to hear = ききたい

 To want to go = いきたい

 To want to connect = 繋げたい

 I would like to use it as a reference = 参考にしたいです

 I would like to have the sensor installed before the dust cover = ダストカバーよりも前にセンサをつけておきたいです

Each of these translated the たい or タイ to "Thailand."

I used the translation feature built-in to Microsoft Outlook and Teams to produce these results. This even applies to the "Live captions" feature in Teams. I also used the Microsoft translation application on my non-work smartphone, yielding the same "Thailand" result.

I didn't experience this before August 8th that I noticed, so I thought maybe there was a system update that was pushed out for all Microsoft-based software. Any help to get this remedied is appreciated.

Thank you.
