Is it possible to have more than one proofing language set in Office products?

Or is there quick way to alternate between them? Or at least quick way to disable proofing for current document I'm working on?

I would like to use different proofing languages for different emails I write and I can't find the easy way to do it.

If you click in the paragraph with the Czech text (don't select anything—just leave the insertion point blinking) and then re-visit the Language dialog box, does it correctly state Czech as the text language?

Is Czech your system default? In that case, you should be able to rely on the automatic detection of language to get the correct proofing language when you are typing in English in Outlook.

In a new e-mail, click Review tab > Language group > Language > Set Proofing Language. In the language dialog box, select the option to "Detect language automatically."

Note that I do not recommend relying on "Detect language automatically" in Word.

I'm having this problem when writing emails in Outlook. I don't really need proofing when writing in czech cause it is my first language so it looks like I could only use english proofing but than Outlook tries to autocorrect my czech into english if some word is similar. I would like english proofing when I write in english and vice versa but other solution can be just to disable proofing when writing in czech. Is there an easy way to do it? Maybe some button on the Ribbon I couldn't find? Having to go to settings seems unnecessarily complicated.

You can have more than one proofing language installed. The best way to switch between languages will depend on which specific Office product you are running.
