    Hello Ngaire S,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community. My name is Gunasekar and I'm happy to help.

I understand that you are having issues with OneDrive connection.

    1. Do you see the OneDrive icon on the taskbar? Does the icon has red x on top of it?
    2. Do you get any error code or message when Opening OneDrive?

    A. Click OneDrive icon on the taskbar, ensure it is connected to your account and share any error if you notice one.

    B. If you are already connected to OneDrive and it displays error,

    • Ensure you have stable internet connectivity.
    • Reset OneDrive.

    a. Press the Windows key and R to open the Run dialog box, enter wsreset.exe, then select OK. b. A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close. You can close the Microsoft Store window. c. If OneDrive is still not syncing, press the Windows key and R again. d. Copy the exact text below and paste it into the dialog window, then press OK.

    %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset

If you see a "Windows cannot find..." message, copy and paste the text below instead, then press OK.

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset

If you see a "Windows cannot find..." message, copy and paste the text below instead, then press OK.

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset

Note: If none of these steps work, you do not have the OneDrive sync app installed. Learn more.

    e. Manually restart OneDrive by going to Start , type OneDrive in the search box, and then click on the OneDrive desktop app.
