Using Teams how can we take an attendance register?

Hello, my department would like the ability to use teams as a platform for taking attendance of students. Attendance is for a physical class not an online meeting. It is for PE lessons, where we may be split into different areas of the school site, and have a class split across these locations. We would therefore like the ability to be able to enter a students attendance onto one system, whereby several teachers can see that potentially someone is missing.

We would be happy with a simple excel file or form, just wanted to know what would be best. Lastly if it requires admin to set it up that could be problematic for us.

I'm afraid to tell you unfortunately as of the moment MS Team only provides native support for meeting attendance only. However, upon checking the apps I saw a few attendance apps listed there, I personally have not tried so I can't comment more on that but I think something you probably want to take a look.
